The Course Manager, David Murdoch, writes regular diaries recording the work done by his team on the course. He also takes photographs of work in progress and these can be viewed.

WINTER PROGRAMME 2011/12

We are undertaking three major projects and a number of minor improvements this winter:

9^th Tee / 14^th Green

Install a new path running along the right hand side of the 9^th tee and refurbish the tees and surrounding areas. Install a new path to the left of the 14^th green and leading to the road crossing. This will replace the existing path next to the green, which will be returfed and made good.

16^th Tee

Rebuild the 16^th white tee, enlarge, install drainage, level and returf. Work to the yellow tee will also be considered during this project.

 7^th and 13^th Tees

Remodel both tee complexes at the 7^th and 13^th. The objective with the 7^th is to gain more teeing ground, particularly for the white tee, in order to better spread wear and tear. The 13^th will be become three separate tees for white, yellow and red and will be surrounded by heather. Consideration will be also be given to the installation of a blue tee on this hole, in order to get another par 5 over 500 yards.
