16th TEE PROJECT

INTRODUCTION

The aims and objectives of this project are to gain more teeing ground, in order to better spread wear and tear (high percentage of iron play from this tee), level the playing surfaces and improve the drainage. The wooden panels around the yellow tee are also starting to rot and collapse and are being removed.

Sequence of work

1. Remove existing sprinklers.

2. Cut back tree encroachment both sides of the tee.

3. Strip the surface and remove spoil.

4. Create the basic tee shape required, using existing soil.

5. Install drainage.

6. Apply rootzone material, level, carry out final shaping and firm the surfaces.

7. Install irrigation.

8. Returf the tee complex.
