Liphook Golf Club

Hole 10 - Fowley

When the course was first opened, Liphook Golf Club was housed at the nearby Wheatsheaf Hotel (now The Links) and this was the first hole. Another short but tricky par 4 as the tee shot is blind. Aim for the left side but watch out because it runs out at 220 yards. During the summer, only a mid-iron is needed to stay out of the waiting heather. Once the tee shot is negotiated, the approach is relatively straightforward to a large green with subtle undulations.
