Liphook members raise £6550 for Hounds for Heroes

Shortly before Christmas, Richard Freedman and Gay Umney visited the new premises in Ramsdean of their chosen Captains' charity where they attended a puppy training session and presented Allen Parton with a cheque for £6550, generously donated by members of the Club over the course of their year as Captain and Ladies Captain. The amount raised has entitled the Club to name one of the charity's future dogs and after several suggestions from members, the name "Bunker" has been proposed to the Charity's trustees, which combines their insistence on a military association with our desire to have a clear golfing connection.
