Visitors must observe the Rules of Etiquette on the course and we ask visitors to observe the Club’s dress code and etiquette as follows: Dress On the course Conventional golf shoes should be worn. Between mid-October and the end of March soft studs must not be used. The following should not be worn: denim jeans/jackets, track or leisure suits, T-shirts, combat or cargo type trousers/shorts, sweaters without shirts, or garments displaying slogans. Only wear sleeved shirts (long or short) with collars. Men’s shirts must be tucked into trousers. Men’s shorts must be tailored and cut no more than two inches above the knee. Shorts may be worn with knee-length plain stockings with fold-down or calf-length sports socks. The latter must be predominantly white. Socks must be worn by men whilst on the course (and in the Clubhouse). In the Clubhouse In the Dining Room smart casual dress is acceptable at lunchtime if playing 36 holes. Collar, tie and jacket are to be worn in the Dining Room for Lunch following 18 hole matches and for Dinner. Dress in the Lounge Bar is normally smart casual although there are some occasions, particularly at lunchtime on Sunday, when formal dress rules apply. Shorts may be worn in the Spike Bar, and in the Lounge when the doors between the Lounge and Dining Room are open. Shorts may not be worn in the Dining Room. Etiquette Mobile phones must be switched off at all times. They may be used on the course only in an emergency. Shoes must be changed in the Club locker rooms Organisers are asked to inform their players that parking in the Car Park adjacent to the Club House is for Liphook Golf Club Members only.
